: I am 27 and have had strange symptoms for 6 years due to anxiety and panic attacks. I also
have many ms symptoms so my doc ordered 2 MRIs (one with a dye injection) to rule it out.
One of my most bothersome problems is my vision. I see "trails" and have double vision even
if i cover one eye. I get very shaky in warm weather even only 80 degrees and feel very weak.

: The Head MRIs showed nothing except "vague white matter high signal - unspecific" my
doc says that he can rule MS out. They've done so many other tests and the only thing they
could find was an elevated white blood count 11,400 which they think is due to to my allergies.

: Can MS be ruled out with a clear MRI scan of the head? Has anyone here had a clear MRI
and found out later that it was MS?

: Please answer.

Hi Polly,

I might not be answering your question directly but I hope you have had tests for the more
obvious things like: Lyme Disease, Cytomegalo Virus, Thyroid function, Sed Rate, C Reactive
Protein, Antibodies to Chlamydia and Mycoplasma just for starters.

Of course you HAVE been seeing a doctor, so this probably has been done before MS is
suggested.

If you still have an elevated White Blood Cell Count, ask your doctor why you haven't been put
on long term Doxycycline to try to lower it???

Good luck.......... Ron
