: I just read an article on Interferon, beta 1A and 1B. It sounded like they were saying that if you went to a doctor : when you first spotted the signs of MS and they started to give you this medication, it culd slow down or even stop the : progression of your MS. I've had MS for 5 years now, so I doubt it's gonna do me any good, but I wonder why we're just hearing about ths now? : I wonder if it would help to slow down my relapses, even though I have been afflicted by MS for so long now? : HAve any of you tried this medication? Did it help your MS? : Thanks, Randy Randy, I was dx all most 7yrs ago my Dr.started me on Avonex last Feb. Its suppose to maintain me at my preasent condition. I think I am doing fairly good. It is recomended to get on one of these drugs asap. Good luck. Mary
