I have been diagnosed with MS for 3 years, although I am sure I have had it for a longer time, but uncertain as to how long as I also have fibromyalgia. I understand that MS is a complex and unpredictable illness, I would like to hear from women in their 40's possibly going through menopause and if that seems to affect them. Each month it seems that my numbness increases especially in the lower extremities. I am now having tremors more often which just happen not provoked by exertion. My legs are weakening and my right hand arm and side have been numb for at least six months so now I do not anticapate any improvement. My eyesight changes almost on a daily basis, am I headed for a wheelchair? My basic question is menopause a contributing factor to the disabling of MS. Thanks for your response.
