i am a 29 year old woman married to a FSHD moderetly afected man. i am pregnant 6 weeks and am going to have a genetic test for the fitus in one month. in case it is FSHD positive i would like to know if there is any way to predict the sevirity of its involvment.my other qwestion is if there is any way to count on modern medicine to be able to prevent the symptoms or even to only eas them within 15 years (the time that my future child might start to hsow its symptoms). we are thinking of abortion in case the fitus is afected but we do need to know all the posibilities. if an expert person can ansure these qwestions i will thank him very much.
