dermatomyositis

This is my first attempt a conversing with other DM patients. I was diagnosed in July of 97 and I won't go into details as I am sure it is old news to you. I am still on prednisone and IVIG. What I would like to hear from you concerns minor irritations such as itchy scalp and eyes, lack of energy, weight gain and all the things that together are constant reminders (as if legs that don't function properly wern't enough) of a less than perfect body. I must add at this point that prior to DM this old bod was far from perfect. I'd love to hear from any and all. Thnaks. Gracia
