My daughter was diagnosed with myostis a week ago , The doctor said dermatomyositis aka polymyositis , but i have found out they are not the same , however , juvenile myositis and dermatomyositis sound alot like each other . How can i tell which type she has ?? and does myositis go dormit for periods of time or is it awake all the time or dormit only when medicated ??
