: : I get very severe cramps on the outter parts of my lower legs when I walk any distance. It feels like the tendons are being twisted and pulled. I have tried stretching exercises, several different pairs of shoes, arch supports and physical therapy. Nothing helps. The doctor says I am too young to have it caused by circulation problems. Any ideas? or suggestions? Thanks.

: : I don't know if this will go on. But was reading this site. March of 98, I got out of bed in the morning. My leg from my ankles into my hip was spastic, could hardly move, but went to work that same day thinking it would work itself out. Long story short, 3 months of doctors, lost my ins., and job., was sent from one doctor to another, all kinds of medicines(about 15) which nothing helped. My son brought me to a massuse theripist and removed 5 knots out of muscles in my leg. I ran out of money with no income, so I had to stop going. To this day, I cannot stand, sit, or walk very much. I use a cane. The pains in the muscles are very real with anyone that it happens to.
