In Reply to: Can neuromuscular disorders be due to epidural during child birth??? posted by tb on December 10, 1999 at 17:02:37:

: Does anyone have information about nerve damage / disease caused by epidurals during childbirth? I had a bizarre reaction to an epideral during child birth 19 years ago and began to experience periods of severe muscle weakness and pain less than a year later. Many episodes and years later after being diagnosed with ME (Myalgic encephalomyelitis) or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia, I am going through investigations that suggest a diffuse neuromuscular disorder such as LGMD. Pending final diagnosis, I ask that anyone who has more information on the relationship between an epidural reaction and nerve disorders to please contact me at mmaxx00@hotmail.com.

Hi I did e-mail you..Question was about LGMD what is that???? Hope to hear from you...Have same problems Betty
