Thank you for reading this.
My name is Richard Miller. From 1966 to 1977 I had Crohnís disease. During that time I experienced 3 surgeries, one to remove 6 inches from my intestines. I took prednisone, Immuran, Azulfidine, and all the other drugs common to that time. At one time I was on 7 different drugs.
I am currently writing a book about my disease experience and I would like to enlist your help.
I would like to include different experiences of disease not just my own. This would include how the disease has affected your life, what restrictions it has placed on you, etc. No one can better describe the experience of disease than those who have it. Every doctor who treats with less caring than he should, and every friend and relative who doesnít understand, needs to know what itís like. Thatís why I need your help.
If you are interested, I have a questionnaire that I can email you. Your privacy will remain confidential.
As a way to thank you, I will send you a copy of an article I had published in the International Academy of Preventive Medicine Journal that talks about some of the techniques I used to regain my health.
Thanks in advance. Richard
