My husband, 24, was recently "diagnosed", for lack of a better word, with long thorasic nerve palsy. I am having a tough time finding any info on this condition. Has anyone ever heard of it and if so how is it treated. My husband's dr. keeps putting off evalutions and treatment for months at a time waiting for the nerve to regenerate on it's own. His right arm is almost useless. He can not lift it up higher than his stomache without great effort. When he does, his shoulder blade sticks straigh out from his back. Then his shoulder shakes and dislocates. If anyone out there has heard of anything like this please email me.
