I have had numbnes and tingling in my outer and middle left thigh for over a year. Walking doesn't bother me but standing in one place for even brief periods causes a burning pain. This started a few days after I had a kidney stone taken care of with lythotripsy (sorry about the spelling) under general anesthetic. Recently I was hospitalized for 2 days because my blood pressure went to 175/130 and wasn't responding to medication. I have had hypertension for 15 years. I am now 44. The day I got out the numbness began in my right leg and seems to be following the same course. My doctor seems to be stumped. Any ideas what is causing this or what I should do? Thanks
