: Have you had an MRI/Cat Scan to check for a ruptured or slipped disc? You don't have to have a recent injury for it to happen. Tingling and muscle weekness is a sign of a herniated disc.

I'm not a doctor but have you considered possible carpal tunnel damage? I had similar symptoms, tingling in thumb and all but litttle finger. Nerve conduction tests indicated severe carpal tunnel restriction , putting pressure on nerve. Surgery as recommended but after reading about it, decided to live with it. Gradually feeling better with time. Hope your problem will do the same.
