Dear Ruth, Cessy and "Gagged",
I'm sorry to hear about yall's situation.
I too have nerve damage from epidural in surgery.
I had lung cancer and had half a lung removed.
Since then, (19 months ago) I've been going to
a pain clinic and living on pain pills. The thing that
gets me, is that they seem so nonchalant about
it. They (doctors) just say "it happens sometimes".
I asked if the pain will ever go away, but can't get
a straight answer. I had 3 epidurals during the
surgery - they couldn't get them to work. My
sister was with me and she said they were just
"boring" around in my back trying to get it to
work.
