: I have had peripheral neuropathy for 3yrs. now and is continually worsening..My feet are so senestive to touch and pressure that I can barely walk or stand for more than 15min...I had to quit working due to pain and the meds.make me so dizzy and drugged out that I can barely function..Life is becoming very trying..A psychologist suggested that I try a chat group to find others with same problems. I know of no one with this. Also does any have any info on qualifying for social security disability with neuropathy? I have been through 2 denials and was scheduled for appt. with adm.law judge,my lawyer sent me for psychology work up--the judge remanded my case back to S.S for another review and I have been waiting 4mos. for decision..Has anyone gotten disability with this or is it impossible----I'm about ready to give up. Joyce, don't give up! There are approximately 2 million people in the US with PN. there are lawyers who help people through the process of qualifying. I don't know what they charge. Ellen
