My peripheral neuropathy has gone the same route of diagnostic tests as your husband's and all results are negative. It was only suggested that I try heavy doses of B-complex and ibuprofen. Since I already took B-complex I went off it for several months. No results fromthis or 600mg of ibuprofen twice a day for a month. My condition was never labelled "viral". It still slowly progresses, from its inception 8 years ago. My hands and half of my face are now involved. The feet came and went and are currently nearly normal. Now major changes in lifestyle. I have to watch my hands to see what I'm doing with them now. Doctors duck a final prognosis. I just try to ignore it as much as possible.
