Have any of you had a problem getting your medical doctor and chiropractor to agree on your diagnosis? I have severe neck pain and tingling that radiates into my arms and down my back. My chiropractor says my "atlas" bone (the one that holds up the head) is markedly out of alignment. But my medical doctors don't see it that way, and my x-rays have been reported as "negative". My chiropractor says it's a difference in what medical doctors are looking for, versus what chiropractors look for. I have a LOT of pain, but my medical doctor isn't buying it. I believe in my chiropractor's diagnosis, because when he "cracks my neck", my symptoms go away.
