My husband has the same condition. The doctors say he has progressive polyneuropothy. As of yet we have not found anything for the burning, but we did find that if he wore nylon sock, like dress socks, that helped. Sometimes wrapping his feet with ace bandages really snug helped with the pain. He also has pain really bad at night. The doctors can't figure out why at nite worse. We have also found in his case that a percussion massager used on his legs interupts the signals being sent and helps lessen the pain.
