: Over a period of about 7 months I have been going to the Doctor on and off with complaint of pain that started in my right leg and extended down to the top of my toe, my Doctor orignally diagnosed me with shingles, but it continues, xrays were done when I went back with the same complaint they called it siatic nerve damage and treated it with muscle relaxers, pain pills and steriods, I was told that this could be treated with drug therapy, I am still plaqued with these pains, aren't there any other solutions?

I fell down the stairs whilst carrying a TV in Oct 1997. I was badly hurt and brused, however this cleared up. In February 1998 I started to get Hip and Groin pain. I went to see specilaists who gave me MRI Scans and x-rays of all discription; nothing showed up. I then saw a rhumatologist?, who explained that my pevis had tilted and needed to be strightened. He did this after 4 attempts(20 injections). However, I am still in constant pain.

I now attend a pain control clinic in Leicestershire where I have received injections as my scatis jont is damaged and it now looks permanant.

There seems to be northing that anyone can do. The pain is so bad that I am on anti-depressants and as I'm sure you can imigine,FED UP. If you hear from anyone please email me
