I am 38 and was just diagnosed with mild osteoporosis. "Mild osteoporosis of the left total femur measurement (T-score-1.1) and Mild osteoporosis of the right total femur measurement (T-score -1.4) AP Spine L2-L4 1.183, my question is I was told to do weight bearing exercises and to take 1200mg of calcium with vitamin D. If you do excercises on a nautilus type of machine is that considered weight bearing because it has your weight punched into the machine before you start? Secondly,I am taking"Puritan's Pride" Liquid calcium capsules they say "serving size 3 soft gels. when you read down further, it says amount per serving "vitamin A 825 I.U., Vitamin D 600 I.U. and Calcium 600 mg (as calcium carbonate) what I can't figure out is that if I take 3 am I only getting 600mg and I need to take 6 of these to get to 1200mg ? I thought it was 600mg per capsule and that I was getting 1800 per day!! Any information I can be e-mailed or sent would be much appreciated.
