I've been diagnosed with severe osteoporosis at age 46, after having six compression fractures at one time.
This all came about when I was just finishing chemo for early stage cancer. The chemo went smoothly for what it was, but the fracture business is the most painful thing I've ever experienced, including childbirth. The pain has gone now, finally, but my problem is that my ribcage seems to sit just within my pelvic bones. I have no space that I can get my hands under my ribcage on each side. This is most uncomfortable. Does anyone else have this problem. I am on Evista & Fosamax, calcium and vitamins with no side effects. My posture looks good, but this "droppage" is odd.
