yes, i've seen it used together in the posted literature. evista doesn't work in the hip. it seems to be a weak bone drug. it's a better substitute for hormones. if one has osteoporossis, especially in the hip, one needs to be on fosamax. being on the evista is for totally different reasons. although a family member here got really bad hot flashes on it and our doctor said deep vein problems in your legs could appear and to let them know about any pain in the legs.
: My gyn just prescribed both Evista and Fosomax. I didn't see in the literature the use of Evista to diagnosed osteoporosis patients. Anyone have knowledge of this?
