I have been on Fosamax over 2 yrs(I was in a study) and have had bone density increase after 1 yr. I am 65, extremely active(racquetball 3 times weekly) and am due for another density test in Sept. It'a a nuisance to take that 10 mg daily a half hr. before breakfast but recently found out there would be lots more absorption of the drug if one can wait a full hour before eating--not me--too busy!
