Does anyone have information regarding up-to-date dosage for Fosamax for the treatment of someone who already has osteoporosis? My 66 yr old mother has been told at a seminar in Zimbabwe that her current dosage of 10 mg once a day (i.e. 70 mg a week) can be lowered to 20 mg twice a week (i.e. just 40 mg a week). She was told that this was the latest research. I can't find anything to back this up on the internet. Has anyone heard of this? Thanks.
