: check the web for this new procedure that is being done at University of Virginia and the Mayo Clinic. It involves injecting bone cement into the vertebrae where compression fracture exists, stabilizing the fracture and relieving the pain. I would like to know where else this is being done-in Nashville or Memphis? and how I can go about finding out if my Mother can qualify for this procedure? I just read an article in the 'Womans world magazine, issue for 7-11-00 on page 3 about this. They say there is a place - Trover Foundation in Kentucky doing this procedure but I have not found any more about it. the doctor who is doing this is Dr. Gregory Lawler. It does not give a city. If you find out any more info, could you let me know via e-mail? Sounds like we're looking for the same thing. Good Luck.
