I was diagnosed at the age of 39 with with severe osteoporosis and have 6 compression fractures . If anyone has severe osteoporosis such as mine please E-mail me PatL50@mediaone.net. I might add that I have undergone every test possible and the cause remains unknown.

Camille thank you for answering the posting. I have been diagnosed with Hashimotos thyroiditis, but have never had a thyroid scan or a parathyroid scan done. My Endo has checked the levels of parathyroid hormone only. Would that be enough or can you only tell by a scan? Please E-mail me at PatL50@mediaone.net. How are you doing since your surgery?
