My doctor just started me on Fosomax, he told me that there are other alternatives that
some women are following. Soy products, are one, the health stores can tell you more
about that. Excercise will strengthen your bones, and of course you have to up your intake
of calcium, which needs vitamin D to make it work. I cannot take estrogen, and he suggested
that we try the Fosomax first to see if I can tolerate it. However, I am concerned, I just read
up on it in the web and they do not know yet the effect that Fosomax will have, after years of
taking it, as it is stored in our bones.I just took my first pill this morning and, truthfully, I do not
know if I am doing the right thing. I would like to know if anyone has tried going the natural way,
using "soy", does it help?
Thank you.
