I know how helpless you feel. My mom at 81 is considerably older than your mom but it's still heartbreaking to see a recently vital and active person reduced to being housebound and always in pain. Please let me know if you find any info and I'll do the same. My mom is afraid of taking Fosamax or Evista because she has a very weak stomach (she gets nauseous and gassy easily) and has sensitivity to most medicines. She's always telling me she doesn't want to feel worse. I'll pray for you.
