I learned about ipriflavone in the first place from a "a compounding pharmacolgist" A Phd as a matter of fact, who supplied me with a sheaf of abstracts on double blind studies done by independent researchers. But your caveat is very wise,and I'm constantly appalled at how many people I know take prescribed drugs who have no idea what they are or their purpose, and then take more unknowns to counter the side effects!
