: : : Is anyone familiar with a product called Cal Max manufactured by Nutrina Co.? I am trying to find a good calcium supplement that will dissolve in my body and not pass through. If anyone has any thoughts, I would appreciate hearing about them.
: : : Thanks a lot.: : Hi Charlene,
: : My wife takes Cal-Mag Asparate put out by Vitaline Formulars. You should also take Boron. It reduces calcium exceted by 40% in just 8 days.
: : Harry: I've used Cal Max and found it good for me. It is a powder that you mix with a beverage to take. It give you, per 7 grams (heaping teaspoon) 450mg Calcium (elemental) and 150mg Magnesium (elemental). The ingredients are: Calcium gluconate, citric acid, ascorbic acid, magnesium carbonate & apple cider vinegar.
: I bought a 5 oz container in a health food store for $8.99. I know it is made by the same company in a 1:1 ratio also.My wife and I have used Cal-Max for years. It is made by Nutrina from California and comes in powder readily dissolvable and absorbs easily in the body. It comes in two different ratios of calcium to magnesium. It is not only an excellent supplement of those minerals for healthy bones but also a relaxant. It has worked wonders for children (and adults) we know with attention deficit and/or hyperactivity.
