Has anyone out there ever heard of treating osteoporosis with progesterone cream? I had a Pharmacist who is a Compounding Specialist tell me this helps builds bone density. He told me sports people such as those trying for olympics have used them after an injury and were amazed at how fast they healed and the buildup of bone. I hope I'm making sense. I was just advised I have osteoporosis in hips and started on Fosomax. The pharmacist explained to me that Fosomax has done great things but they do not know the long term outcome and that once it is in your system for a time and you should have to quit for some medical reason - it can take up to ten years to get rid of. Like I said I am new at all of this so would like some feedback. Thanks - Donna
