: : apparently this is what I have. Has anyone else been diagnosed with this? I am told it will go away in time (a month or so) but want to speed up the process - any advice much appreciated.
: Yes! I had this during pregnancy with my first child. Couldn't walk for about 2 months then it slowly went away. Still looking for more info on this too. From what I understand it can take up to about a year to go away comlpetely. I found some info from National Osteoporosis Foundation. My doctor also gave my reprints from several case studies.
: He put me on alendronate(after giving birth).Hard to tell how much it helped but it seemed to.
: Good Luck!!!
I was diagnosed with this condition nine months ago and told it could take a year to go away also. It is not gone yet. The pain is almost all gone but the swelling is still there, (on my ankle). The doctor has yet to give me anything that has been able to help. I was told it might go away and never come back or it could come back in another part of my body. I am looking for info. on this too, but it seems like only time will help. The discoloration still there too.
