Fosamax: Good and Bad

I am 55 and was diagnosed with osteopenia three years ago. I started Fosamax. I have had 3 bone density tests in that three year period. My bones have stabilized with no more bone loss. HOWEVER, I am always bloated, especially after I eat, and have heartburn/pain in the middle of my chest right where the last ribs come together. Do I continue to take Fosamax or not? THAT is the question. I think it has helped prevent further bone deterioration, but at what price? Add me to the "in a quandary" list!
