: I am a 41 yr old male and was diagnosed with osteoporosis just recently, and my teeth are also breaking a little at a time. My dentist said it is probably due to osteoporosis, does anyone have experience with this?
I just found out that I have osteoporosis. In response to your question, I have not been to the dentist yet, but my teeth have been breaking regularly. I can't tell you how many crowns I have had to put in. Root canals, etc. My teeth have always been very hard so this has been a shock to me all this dental work. When I tell my dentist that I have osteoporosis I am sure he will say that this explains the reason for the change in my teeth.
