My doctor just prescribed Fosamax and has me taking calcium supplements. Is it okay to go for a brisk, two mile walk immediately after taking the Fosamax? Normally, I won't exercise so soon after eating because it causes indigestion, but I don't know if the same holds true for the Fosamax. Also, I read on this forum that one shouldn't take calcium supplements 'with' milk. If I have breakfast with milk, them right after that take a calcium pill with a glass of water, is that okay, or should I not have the milk with breakfast?
