: : Can anyone give me some info on this type of procedure? Does it work well for a bulging disc?Any info would be helpful.
: : Thanks
: Hi Denise. I had several epidural injections prior to my back surgery in the hopes that they would help the pain and the problem...unfortunately, they did no good, but that doesn't mean they won't help you. I have several bulging disks, but my main diagnosis is degenerative disk disease. What other procedures have you had? What is the course of treatment you doc proposed? This can be very helpful for some people, hopefully, you'e one of them. Good luck!
: Sincerely....Kimberly
Hi, I have spinal stenosis and two bulging discs. I have had three injections. They were uncomfortable, but no pain after the procedure from the injection. My 1st shot worked for a week and one-half. I was pain free. Very good after suffering from my waist to my toes for 2 years. Because the 1st one worked we did the others. But unfortunately no help from the others. The only side effects I incurred was a slightly bloated face from the steriod. Good luck.
