: Hi all. I finally have an appoinment with my new primary care physician tomorrow morning. This is the first step on my way to pain management, since it is required by my insurance. What I nned to know is, how do I tell her about the pain I am experiencing without her thinking I am only after drugs? Has anyone else dealt with this situation? I would appreciate any advice y'all may have. Thanks!
If you have read very many of the posts here you will find some from me indicating you should write down your thoughts about your pain and give it to your doctor.
With something in writing, signed by you, there is less of a chance that he/she will think you are BSing him/her.
Just my opinion good luck and god bless,
