synvisc is supposed to relieve arthritis pain for up to six months, reduce the need for anti-inflammatory drugs, and
reduce the need for steroid therapy.. It cost me $350(CDN) for 3x 2ml shots, taken 3 weeks apart.
It's sodium hyaluronate, and replaces the cushioning and lubrication that has been missing in the synovial fluid of the joints..
As I've only had 1 of 3 so far, I cant really say it's been beneficial (yet) and I just wondered
if anybody else had tried it
