Yes, Brett...the fall could have caused a dural leak or if you had an infection already, could have been expressed as a fluid leak. Alternatively, the BAK cages could have been dislodged during the fall (theoretically) but this would take a tremendous force. Also, the second surgery could have caused the infection. If you are a smoker however you will probably be unable to prove the lack of fusion came from the infection. Use of NSAIDs after surgery also reduces the fusion rate.
: I had surgery had cages put in at L4-L5 S1 and was taking to xray the next day and got xray coming back off the table it broke i fell on my heels a couple of weeks later had fliud where i had surgery and they had to go back in and get the fluid out thats when i got a infection now they tell me i am not fused is this possble this could have come from the fall and the infection
