: I do not suffer from chronic pain but I have an interest in the topic, so sad to hear from so many desparate people, and how *de humanized* they feel trying to get help. Then the question comes to my mind : ?? "Why have I never seen a post from a doctor who is suffering from chronic pain??? I have seen posts by nurses. But our dear gatekeepers.... they have no presence on line as sufferers of chronic pain.... : Could it be that the good doctors readily get their relief from pain needs met???? : Hmmmm? Doctors don't have as physical a job as nurses. EG nurses lift and move around patients. So their probabaly arn't as many with cronic pain. Also they might be here but not letting us know. If you were a doctor in cronic pain would you tell everyone on the net and then end up working by trying to anwser everyones questions? Maybe they need help like we give each other but wouldn't be able to get it if known as 'Doctor'. Good luck and God bless John
