I had to take a 3 day test prior to getting the pump implanted. However, it was done in the hospital where all I could do was lay around. Well, it seemed to work while I was there, but being in the hospital and being at home are two different matters entirely. I agree with giving the test at home where you would go through your normal routine. But how would you set the dose? Does your patient have access to the ajustment?
Anyway, thanks for your response. I will talk to my doctor about the additives you mentioned. By the way, I would still rather be on the pump than taking methadone. After 3-4 years of that stuff, that is enough. That has got to be the MOST addicting pain med there is!
