You are right about my pain doc getting upset. I guess what I am going to have to do is make a decision between the pump and the oral meds. Since I know that the pain doc already doubts me and is unmilling to increase any meds, the last thing I want to do is give her more ammunition (such as seeing 2 different docs) to fuel those doubts.
I would say if I have to choose now that I would go back to the oral meds. I really wanted the pump to work, but it isn't, at least not for me. I know that without the oral meds, I can hardly walk and that the pain is the worse it has ever been. That kind of makes my choice fairly simple.
I just find it hard to believe that I went through all this BS in getting the pump and now no one will listen to me when I say it isn't working.
