Hi Dr. Whitworth, I hope you are having a nice weekend. I don't understand something about a syrinx and you are great at explaining. What happens to the nerves inside the cavity? Are they eaten away just like a tooth cavity or do they just get damage? Are they exposed like a nerve in a tooth? I know these questions may sound stupid but I can not understand what happens to the nerves. I've read alot about syrinxes but they never say.All the things I have read tells of the neurological damage it can cause. Thanks for always being here for us. It sure helps me cope better when I can understand what is happening. It's also a comfort to know we can come to you for help. Thanks again for giving us your valuable time and knowledge. I'm also sorry about your frustations with the adoption. Sometimes when we least expect it something wonderful can happen and God knows you deserve a great reward for always helping others. Bye Cee
