I would appreciate your expertise in a questions I have from relief I have received from a select nerve root injection. I have had my C6-7 fused twice and still have quite a bit a pain plus MRI's show alot of narrowing and stenosis. I go to a wonderful pain management doctor who has done everything he can think of to give me some relief. He had done all kinds of injections. On my last visit he tried for the 4th time a select nerve root injection and for the first time I have gotten relief that has now lasted about 2 months. I was wondering what does this mean. Has this solved my cervical spine problems? Has this just given me temporary relief and it will come back? My surgeon was talking about doing more surgery and I was wondering if now I won't have to go through that hopefully.
I was having total numbness in my arms and hands and so far I haven't had this either. I don't want to jinx myself and call the pain doc so I thought I would ask you if you don't mind. I think you are wonderful how you answer everyone's questions on all the forums you show up on and I would really appreciate if you could answer mine! Thank you so much!
