You know, cases like yours scare the heck out of me. I was "lucky" enough to get hurt at work, so I am covered by workers compensation, but I always wonder what people would do if they had no insurance. That idea just scares me to death.
Doesn't the UK have nationalized insurance, where all are covered? At least that is what I was lead to believe. Please keep me up to date. I wish you all the best. I am on the east coast of the USA, in North Carolina. Hurricanes is all I really have to worry about.
