I am on anti-inflamatories. The pain is only when I stand or walk. But sometimes, it is so bad, that it really gets your attention. The pain has gotten progressively worse, with pain now radiating from my hip area all the way down the front of my left leg to my foot. My doctor has told me that there is nothing they can do for bursitus, except to wait it out. Eventually , it will go away. Is this true? Would it help to see an orthopedic? Thanks for your help.
