MY FATHER HAD A STROKE ABOUT 10 YEARS AGO. HE HAD NO PROBLEMS UNTIL ABOUT 3 YEARS AGO. THEN HE STARTED TO HAVE PAIN IN HIS BACK AND LEGS WHICH HAS GOTTEN PROGRESSIVELY WORSE. NOW HE CAN ONLY WALK A FEW YARDS WITHOUT BEING IN EXTREME PAIN.HE HAD DOCTORS LOOK INTO THE PROBLEM AND THEY TOLD HIM THAT IT WAS NERVE DEGREDATION DUE TO HIS STROKE AND THAT THERE WAS NOTHING THAT COULD BE DONE FOR THE PAIN. IS THERE ANYTHING THAT CAN BE DONE, OR ANYONE DOING ANY EXPERIMENTAL WORK IN THIS AREA.
