I would recommend giving it more time to heal. If it is coming from a disc in your neck, the doctors say to give it at least 6 months of healing time before contemplating surgery. Not unless your numbness and weakness continues. If it does continue, you could be having some nerve damage. Physical therapy may also help, especially due to you being so young, this could heal on its own. Please see your doctor. The weakness is not a good sign. It is nothing to be alarmed about, but your might want to have an MRI to find out what's causing the problem.
