Hello to all and hope somebody or somethng can be done. After all is said and done,I have now been experiancing what one ear, nose specialist has said is common tinninitus, or head-noise.He gave me a series of hearing tests (no x-ray's,or mri) and gave me small book about head-noise and basically told me to learn to live with it.Easy for him to say! I"ve had this now over five years. It suddenenly came on after a plane trip from where i live (in the mid-west,and in the winter)and back. I thought it was due to this trip. But the Dr. said improbable.I have repeated the trip and have experianced no change.I am aware of the tinninitus faq web-site and am very familiar with all the diferrent manifestations of head-noise.Mine do not seem to fit into any of these groups.I am prescribed several types of meds for other medical problems.I also suffer from acute and chronic pain. I am satisfied with the treatment for this.I have been on these meds for over two or three years now and now know why it was so difficult to get a dr. to prescribe me some of the pain meds that I take.I have thought at time that i should try to slow down on some of my intake of these meds, but it is very dificult and at least I am pain-free to a degree. I am also taking an rx of diazipam and chlorasopradil and because of the head-noise, i am able to get some sleep at nite.Almost at the end of my rope, hate to leave a family and other responcibilities behind , but sometime soon I am going to end this audio torment
