Thanks Fran.....When I had severe sunburn years ago the dic gave me tylenol#3 w/codine. It did nothing. He then gave me #4 and that worked for about 3 hours.
Until about 1 year ago, I was on valium and tlynol#3 w/codine for back pain. I fanially took myself off of these because I felt like I needed them regardless of pain or not. I don't want to get addicted, just be prepared for the pain. I had knee surgery last march and the doc gave me percoset and it was like taking candy. He then gave me hrdrocodone and that was not all that much better.
A friend of mine who had surgery (open) on his knee said his doctor gave hime Demerol tablets (approx 2 weels worth) and went thru the recoup virtulay pain free.
Thats why I asked if maybe this would be good for me?
