Hi John, I don't think you find any one else who has been through what you have. You are a unique case! I have had laminectomy on L4-L5, and I had an a few hours later while in the hospital. Two weeks later I was back in the hospital having another laminectomy. I year later and I have no herniated a cervical disc c6-c7, and have DDD from c2-c7. I have scar tissue that is wrapped around the nerve root in my left leg, and ddd from l4-s1. I am in constant pain, or maybe I was, I seem to have it under control now. That's why I wanted to reply to your post because I thought maybe I can help.
I am on
Kadian 50mg per day (it is morphine)
Oxyr 5mg 3x's per day
Neurontin 300mg 2x's per day
Celebrex 200 mg once a day
I have been on this combination on drugs for about 3 weeks, and I feel a whole lot better. Like you I could not even walk. It took a couple of weeks to feel the effect, but I have felt pretty good this week.
I hate that I am on such strong narcotics, and I do not plan on doing this for a very long time. But until I find some relief, this will have to do.
Be well John and I hope some one in here was able to help you.
